The Kilimanjaro Trek
The awesome sight of the Kilimanjaro mountain with its glittering peaks, rising from the high Tanzanian plateau, is breathtaking. This immense, dormant volcano seems to watch over the fauna of East Africa. “Kili” is in fact made up of three different craters; the little Shira in the west, Mawenzi in the east and, in the centre, the enormous cone of Kibo, whose summit, Uhuru Peak (19,000ft), set in a spectacular background of hanging glaciers, is the climber’s goal. The Marangu route is the easiest and most classic climb but unfortunately, it is also the most frequented.
For this reason, we propose Machame route, a more natural and less crowded route of roughly the same level of difficulty as the normal route. This alternative itinerary offers a number of advantages; 6 days actual climbing which means climbers acclimatize better, different routes for climbing and descending giving them a change of scenery and finally, a wilder and more varied scenery.
As there are no huts on this route, the accommodation is under canvas. The advantage is that climbers do not find themselves in overcrowded dormitory style huts. Furthermore, climbers who have done both routes all maintained that they got a more complete feeling of accomplishment when doing the Machame route than the Marangu route.

Along the Coast
Start and end in Mtwapa, an upcoming lively town. We ride leisurely through traditional African villages in palm-tree and mango forests. About a third of the tour follows the coast and at some places we can enjoy the view on the Indian Ocean.
Three Coastal Areas
Three typical climate zones along the Coast: beach – palm-tree forest – semiarid area
Along the hotel area to some few upper class plots at the creek, local village, traditional Giriama village in a typical palm-tree-forest along the creek – crossing an arm of the creek.

Start and end in Mtwapa, an upcoming lively town. We follow the Creek inland and ride leisurely through traditional Giriama settlements in palm-tree forests and farms, here called shamba.

The Bike Adventure
First we ride through palm- and mango tree forests with traditional African villages. Then we reach the semi arid area where we climb some hilltops and cross arms of the Mtwapa Creek.
From a high hill we have an fantastic sight over the North Coast Area and different Creeks around Mombasa.

Get the wind in your sail and surf away from it all! On the white beaches of the Kenyan Coast we will gear you up for an amazing adventure. For beginners we offer Courses and sample packages. For experienced Kiters we offer following adventures.
Down wind S’e'afaris
Our extensive coastline allows us to make long downwind runs within the protected lagoon area or along the waves caused by the reef during high tide. Due to the popularity of such runs we came up with the down wind s’e'afari. As a group we kite along various stretches of our coastline with the support of the rescue boat to accompany the kiters during the journey. Stops are often made on spectacular offshore sandbars and drinks and snacks are provided in this event package.
Full moon kiting and party
Locations close to the equator are blessed with spectacularly bright nights during the full moon. This offers an opportunity to do a little night kiting. For safety we kite close to the shore within the protected lagoon area and use glow sticks to mark our position. You are welcome to bring along non-kiting partners and friends to spectate and join in the after kiting party on these evenings.

On nights not blessed with a full moon we can still take advantage of the glorious sunsets, we have altered the Kenyan tradition of having a drink at this time to kiting and then enjoy a drink and a barbeque afterwards
